Apple Green Tea for Allergies

Springtime can be the worst for allergy sufferers, but you can try this Apple Green Tea for some natural allergy relief. If your suffering from allergies and have a sore throat or cough try using pineapple juice instead of apple juice. Pineapple Juice is great for soothing coughs and will taste great in this green tea recipe. Ingredients:
  • 6 cups water
  • 6 bags green tea
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
Directions:1. Put all ingredients into slow cooker and turn to High for 2 hours. Turn down to Low for an additional 2 hours, stirring once during the simmering time.
2. Use a ladle to spoon into cup once heated to a warm enough temperature. Keep on Low or the Keep Warm setting for however long it is needed throughout the day. Remove tea bags before serving.
