Green Tea Coconut Popsicles

Recipe by:
This week we will be celebrating refreshing tea popsicles. Today's flavor is Green Tea Coconut. View the Ingredients and Instructions provided by below. 

 Ingredients:
  •     1 13.5-ounce can full-fat coconut milk
  •     about ½ cup alt-milk (almond or more coconut would be great!)
  •     2-3 teaspoons culinary-quality matcha powder
  •     ¼ cup agave nectar

Instructions:

  1. In a large measuring cup, whisk coconut milk until smooth. In a small mixing bowl, mix about 1-2 tablespoons milk with 2 teaspoons matcha powder until smooth. Pour mixture into coconut milk. Add agave nectar and mix until smooth. Taste and, if a grassier, stronger matcha taste is desired, mix another teaspoon of matcha in a little milk until smooth and add to coconut milk mixture.
  2. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze at least 5 hours.

Ginger Peach Green Tea Popsicles

This week we will be celebrating refreshing tea popsicles. Today's flavor is Ginger Peach Green Tea. View the Ingredients and Instructions provided by lyuba below.  
Ingredients
  • 6-7 ripe peaches, pitted and skinned
  • 1/2 Tbsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 cup of strong green tea, hot
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
Instructions
  1. Combine skinned and pitted peaches and fresh grated ginger in a blender and pulse until all smooth.
  2. Combine hot green tea with sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add sweetened green tea to the blender and pulse a few more times to make sure all is well combined.
  4. Divide among popsicle molds.
  5. *If your mold doesn't have tops, use wooden popsicle sticks: cover the mold tightly with saran wrap and quickly poke wooden sticks through the center of each mold. Saran wrap will keep the sticks standing up while the popsicles freeze.

Green Tea, Basil and Meyer Lemon Popsicles


This week we will be celebrating refreshing tea popsicles. Today's flavor is Green Tea, Basil and Meyer Lemon. View the Ingredients and Instructions provided by Jerry James Stone below.  
Ingredients:

    ¼ Cup Meyer Lemon Juice
    1 ¼ Cups Water, for lemonade
    ¾ Cup Sugar
    1 ½ Cups Water, for tea
    1 Bag Green Tea
    10 Leaves Basil

Yield: 10 popsicles

Instructions:

1. Juice Meyer lemons to get 1/4 Meyer lemon juice

2. Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil and brew 1 bag of green tea  per its instructions.

3. While the tea steeps, tear up the 10 basil leaves and add them to the lemon juice.

4. Add just enough green tea to cover and mull the basil leaves.

5. Add the remaining green tea and let it steep for about 15 minutes.

6. Add the 1 1/4 cups of water and remove the basil leaves.

7. Add 3/4 cup of sugar and mix it all well.

8. Divide the mixture amongst your popsicle molds and freeze them.

9. Enjoy in about 7 to 10 hours.

Watermelon Sweet Tea Popsicles


This week we will be celebrating refreshing tea popsicles. Today's flavor is Watermelon Sweet Tea. View the Ingredients and Instructions provided by Jocelyn (Grandbaby Cakes) below. 
Ingredients
  • 2 tea bags
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (depending on sweetness of watermelon- also feel free to sub in honey or another sub sweetener of your choice!)
  • 2 cups diced watermelon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add tea bags, cover and steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and add in sugar and stir until dissolved. Add in lemon juice and place to the side.
  4. Next add diced watermelon to a food processor (or blender) and grind until a smooth puree has formed.
  5. Pour watermelon through a sieve to remove pulp and seeds then add remaining juice to tea and mix together.
  6. Pour sweet tea into popsicle molds and freeze (overnight if possible) before enjoying.

Everything is made from scratch in Kris' Kitchen. And she means everything.
In Kris' Kitchen, you won't find canned pie filling. Fruit pies start with fruit.
Cream pies are made the old-fashioned way: Milk, eggs, sugar.
Kris Krabill opened her bakery at 878 S. Main St. in downtown Lebanon on July 29.
Although the storefront is new, Krabill is not new to the baking business.
"It's not the same as starting from scratch with us.
I've been baking for restaurants for years now," she said.
Krabill ran her business out of her licensed home kitchen for several years.
